BERKELEY CALLING BLOG  APRIL 15, 2015 BY TRUTH TROUBADOUR. “NO NUKE BLUES FUKUSHIMA UPDATE” Video Released by Vic Sadot. Lyrics, photos, and links! Hit the text or the photo to link to the blog!

Screenshot from the video features two signs during a demonstration. One for "No Nukes Action Committee" and one for Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance that says "9/11 Truth Ends War".

Excerpt:

The original “No Nuke Blues” was written in 1979 about the Three Mile Island accident on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. The song was updated with a verse about the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 in the former Soviet Union. Unfortunately, a new verse needed to be written in 2011 about the ongoing Fukushima nuclear catastrophe in Japan. This version has Vic Sadot on vocals, acoustic guitar, and piano accordion. Eric Golub plays violin. This recording was done in Robot Envy Studio in Berkeley, CA with Sammy Fielding as sound engineer.

Here’s the Fukushima update verse:

They say earthquakes and tidal waves messed up the best of plans!

There are deadly radiation leaks from Fukushima in Japan!

Contamination’s spreading through the land, the air, and sea!

It’s time to put an end to this insane nuke industry!

The rally was led by Chizu Hamada and Steve Zeltzer. It featured many Bay Area community activists concerned about Fukushima’s ongoing release of radiation and the threat posed by the similar situation of Diablo Canyon Nuke Plant, which was built on the Pacific ocean beach over an earthquake fault. The crowd joins Vic Sadot in singing “No Nuke Blues”, a song about the Three Mile Island Accident in 1979 in Pennsylvania, the Chernobyl Accident in 1986 in the former Soviet Union, and the Fukushima Disaster on March 11, 2011 in Japan. That segment starts at 1:04:30.

Truth Troubadour:

A Survey of Writings on the ‘Charlie Hebdo’ French Cartoon Magazine Attacks – Truth Troubadour Blog: Questions about the ‘Charlie Hebdo’ cartoon magazine attacks and Police Commissioner Helric Frédou’s ‘Suicide” are covered in depth by many astute writers. Here is a survey of some of them compiled in a blog titled “I am not Charlie Hebdo! Je suis Helric Frédou!” at Truth Troubadour Blog 2-18-15 by Vic Sadot. A survey of investigative writing about the attacks on the political cartoon magazine in Paris Jan 7, 2015, the governing media’s coverage, the government’s rapid use of the event, and the questions raised about the official story. The Chief investigator Helric Frédou was said to have committed suicide on the night of the event. The media barely covered that when compared to the frenzy of coverage of the mighty “Je Suis Charlie” PR campaign and Jeanette Bougrab, a famous French minister in the Sarkozy regime who claimed to have been the lover for the past three years of editor Stephane Charbonnier (“Charb”) in spite of the family’s denials of such a relationship. There was no lack of investigative writing on this event that could become France’s 9/11, an excuse for more war in Syria, Libya, and other areas in Africa, and a French version of the USA “Patriot Repression Act” can be expected. #JeNeSuisPasCharlie #JeSuisHelricFredou!
