“Truth Troubadour” CD Back and Front Cover for a simple sleeve jacket package
“Truth Troubadour” is a poetic acoustic mix of broadside ballads and sweet love songs featuring Vic Sadot on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Eric Golub on viola, violin, and ukulele. Rockin’ Rob Sadot is featured on electric guitar on 3 of the songs. The lead-off song, Left My Mind, is the only rock song. Left My Mind has Dean A Banks on keyboards and Rob “Rbeast” Hunter on drums rocking it out on an old Joe Sadot song. Vic and Rob Sadot are on acoustic and electric guitars respectively. “Truth Troubadour” is the most acoustic and reflective CD of the four that Vic Sadot has listed at CD Baby (see discography below). Some songs already have videos made for the just released sound track. “Full Spectrum Dominance” is about the rapid trend since the crimes of 9/11 were effectively blamed on Muslims in need of a “war of terror” in their resource rich nations neighboring the Apartheid state of Israel now occupying Palestine. Mass surveillance in violation of the 4th Amendment and the shredding of the Bill of Rights has been enacted with anti-Constitutional legislation like the so-called “Patriot Act” and Presidential NDAA decrees.

BERKELEY CALLING BLOG APRIL 15, 2015 BY TRUTH TROUBADOUR. “NO NUKE BLUES FUKUSHIMA UPDATE” Video Released by Vic Sadot. Lyrics, photos, and links! Hit the text or the photo to link to the blog!
The original “No Nuke Blues” was written in 1979 about the Three Mile Island accident on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. The song was updated with a verse about the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 in the former Soviet Union. Unfortunately, a new verse needed to be written in 2011 about the ongoing Fukushima nuclear catastrophe in Japan. This version has Vic Sadot on vocals, acoustic guitar, and piano accordion. Eric Golub plays violin. This recording was done in Robot Envy Studio in Berkeley, CA with Sammy Fielding as sound engineer.
Here’s the Fukushima update verse:
They say earthquakes and tidal waves messed up the best of plans!
There are deadly radiation leaks from Fukushima in Japan!
Contamination’s spreading through the land, the air, and sea!
It’s time to put an end to this insane nuke industry!
